Yuta Watanabe 14 Points/2 Dunks Full Highlights (4/10/2021)

It feels great to make a Yuta Watanabe highlight video that shows him scoring a legit amount of points. Of course, I’m still pandering to Japanese people (and weebs) when I make this video, but at least I have a small amount of credibility to hide behind. Fringe guys like Watanabe scoring fourteen points are the stuff that DownToBuck dreams are made of. If Japanese people (and weebs) happen to share those dreams with me, then that’s just a happy coincidence. In no way am I trying to coerce Japanese people (and weebs) into donating money to my Patreon, even if Japanese people (and weebs) probably have plenty of discretionary income to throw in my direction.

Do you think I could make a lot of money if I started a Kickstarter where I promised to make a manga series about Yuta Watanabe’s life? Like, if I said that I needed $200,000 to assemble an elite team of manga artists to draw the manga for me while I do all the dialog and storyline stuff? Of course, once I got the money I would just run away never to be heard from again, but the concept, on its surface, is not unreasonable. Somebody with enough willpower could definitely achieve something like a manga series about Yuta Watanabe. There’s a lot of manga drawers out there. I could even pay one of them fifty bucks to draw a teaser page from the manga where it shows Watanabe as an extremely tall child abusing his little classmates on the basketball court outside his school. And another teaser page where he gets seduced by a sexy black woman while playing for the Grizzlies.

Using Watanabe’s likeness without his permission to sell mangas is probably illegal, but my goal would be to generate such a blitz of donations that by the time the NBA or Watanabe himself found out about the project and shut it down, I would already have tens of thousands of dollars that I could abscond with. What are all the Japanese people (and weebs) gonna do when there’s nobody around to give refunds or to pursue legal action against? This plan is so perfect.
