Gaze upon him, Cavaliers fans. Fix your beady, unfocused eyes upon his visage. THIS is the man who your ownership prioritized over emerging studbeast Kevin Porter Jr. THIS is the man whose preferential locker placement ending up driving off a future member of your young core. Look upon his dreadlocks and weep. Every time you see his oddly triangular face, remember the things that have been lost, never to be recovered.

Yep, Taurean Prince is not the most beloved man in Cleveland right now, even though it’s probably not his fault that he took over Kevin Porter Jr.’s locker when he got traded from Brooklyn and thereby started a chain of events that resulted in KPJ landing in Houston to be the budget James Harden replacement. What is Prince’s fault is the fact that he’s a solid player in the early stages of his career, but he doesn’t have the kind of upside to make his presence on the Cavs’ roster meaningful in any way. Every bad roster has a couple of these guys who just steal minutes from players who need development time, guys who would be more useful on a contending team where theft of minutes wouldn’t be such a big deal.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank God, and optionally Jesus as well, for granting me the foresight to not make a video of Prince scoring 22 points and getting 6 assists. He achieved that feat a week ago and I was strongly considering making a video to commemorate the occasion, but something in my mind told me to not waste my time. I now realize that the warnings of that inner voice were actually warnings from Judeo-Christian deities who had hijacked the neurons in my brain to send me messages directly from heaven. Thank you based God for preventing me from making a pointless Taurean Prince video that would have gotten 250 views before being made obsolete by this clearly superior Taurean Prince video that I just uploaded.
