Bulls fans are under the impression that they “won” the trade where they swapped Tony Snell for him with Milwaukee. That’s cool. There’s nothing in the NBA rulebook that says that only one team can win a trade.
Because the Bucks definitely won that one.
But as I was saying, it’s conceivable that both teams can win a trade. A “win-win” type of situation. The Bulls got someone who can chuck shots when they need it, and the Bucks got someone who won’t chuck shots all the time. MCW, coming back from injury, hasn’t been great so far for the Bulls, shooting 31% prior to this game, but that’s actually above what he was shooting for the Bucks, which was approximately 0%.
Man, I can’t believe he’s not on my team anymore. I don’t hate the dude, and I hope he finds success in Chicago, but he made my eyes bleed. Enjoy him, Bulls fans. And don’t get too mad when it turns out he can’t shoot threes.
