Robin Lopez hasn’t gotten enough credit for solidly solid he has been the last couple years. He got some recognition in Portland for his solidity, but it was only a minor amount in comparison to how important he was for those playoff teams, and he definitely had serious solidness going on before then. Solidness is not a recent thing for Fropez.
He has been slightly less solid than usual for the Bulls this season. I have to think that he’s just being used incorrectly, but I have no way to verify that because you expect me to watch Bulls games? The Bulls died to me when MJ left. I have no other option but to speculate on why Lopez isn’t his usual self.
I blame Rondo. That’s easy and it makes sense as well. I blame Rondo for everything wrong with that team. Him and Fred Hoibert. Hoibergs’s got a center with Olajuwon-esque post moves and he doesn’t even feature him in the offense? Rondo’s got a center with Olajuwon-esque post moves and he doesn’t pass him the ball?
