One of these good games for Jamal Murray is going to be the good game that propels him out of his extended slump. It’s just a matter of time. He’ll put up some good stats one night, but instead of scoring 3 points the next game on 1 of 7 shooting, he’ll score 20. Then 20 again, then 15, then 22, all while shooting the three-ball with confidence and accuracy. And then, just like that, the slump his over, and he can regain his rightful RWWADTYOY award.
Maybe tonight is the night! No reason to believe it is, but maybe! 18 points is pretty good, and he did it on only 10 shot attempts. Not Embiid-like by any stretch, but definitely Brogdon-like, and that’s a good sign.
