This video serves as an official letter of apology to Jeff Teague for basically ignoring him these past five seasons. In that timeframe, I have made a total of four highlight videos for this guy, even though he was averaging 15/6 the entire time. I’m not sure if this apology video will lead to me actually make more Jeff Teague highlight videos in the future, but it will help clear the air between me and Mr. Teague. I just want him know that I appreciate his basketball skill and that it was totally my bad that I wasn’t making more videos for him.
17 points and 10 assists is a Rubio-esque statline, but when you watch the video you see the differences: Jeff Teague has finishing ability as well as three-point shooting ability. If Rubio ever made either of those two types of shots, it was because he was lucky or because there was literally no defense. The comments of the commentators make clear their relief in finally having a point guard who can score the ball as well as dish out dimes. I wouldn’t say they were throwing shade, but, yeah, they were actually just throwing a whole bunch of shade on Ricky Rubio nonstop.
To sum it all up, I’m sorry Jeff Teague that you only got four DTB highlight videos since I started my channel in 2012. Sorry bro. Sorry. Sorry.
