Mike Scott 22 Points Full Highlights (12/9/2017)

After last year, I was pretty sure we weren’t going to see Mike Scott on this channel again. Not necessarily because of how bad he was (though he was pretty bad), but because he was going to be sitting in a prison cell somewhere in Georgia. Drugs are bad, kids, and they’re even worse if you don’t have a brother who can take the fall for you.

Luckily, due to some quirk in the court system (like him being innocent or something), he avoided punishment and was able to continue plying his trade in the NBA. That is, if any team wanted him. The Wizards must have seen something still in him that the Hawks (and Suns, whoa, I didn’t even remember he got traded) didn’t, because they quickly signed him to a 1-year cheapo deal during the offseason.

And it’s paying off. Scott is playing some of the best basketball of his career, albeit in limited minutes. He’s a chucker, but his chucks are going in more and more often now. As the commentators in this game were happy to tell you, he was at one point 12 for his last 12 shot attempts. He eventually missed one tonight, but he was super clutch anyway, ending up with 22 including a bunch of big shots late in the fourth. Sadly, the Wizards didn’t win because of some doucher named Lou Williams. We can still enjoy these highlights though. They’re the best we’ve seen from Scott in a long, long time.
