What is the definition of a “shooting clinic?” Does the term even have a definition or is more like a nebulous concept that can’t be defined? Does going 10/12 from the field on almost entirely jumpers count as a “shooting clinic”? Because if it does, Dario Saric just put on a shooting clinic and every member of the Blazers was invited to attend to get an extra-large dose of his Croatian jumpshots.
Saric’s shot form isn’t as pretty as some of the great shooters, and it always looks like his shots will come up short due to the way he releases the ball, but he’s improved his shooting from every spot on the floor from last season to this season, and it’s especially noticable with his threes: he went from 31% (just on the edge of acceptability) to 35% (decent) on this three-point attempts. Maybe now Croatians will pay attention to him instead of whatever celebrity or event is currently capturing the public interest.
