I might have to reconsider Nicolas “Bad-dumb” Batum’s nickname. I’ve been working on it the whole season after seeing how bad and dumb he was being, polishing it up for release, and now that I’ve finally finished it, it’s not relevant anymore. This will be the only time it gets used, I think.
I wonder if Ernest Hemingway ever felt this way. I bet he did.
Batum had another bananas first quarter followed by a smattering of buckets throughout the game tonight. 13 points in the opening period, not as crazy as last time, but still a lot for a guy who was having real struggles scoring for a bunch of the season. Even the Hornets are doing a little better along with him, and they’re not that far off from a playoff spot! The 8th seed dream is not dead yet!
