Josh Jackson 16 Points/4 Dunks Full Highlights (2/6/2018)

Josh Jackson went a chucktastic 7-of-19 from the field, including 1-of-6 from the three-point zone (which he is proud to own), but I made a highlight video anyway. I really shouldn’t reward players for horrific shooting displays, especially when the player in question also commits three turnovers and five personal fouls, but my rules become lax when the player in question happens to be a high-profile rookie coming off a string of good games which have put the spotlight back on them.

I mean, he scored fewer points than he had field goal attempts. That’s always a bad sign, especially in the three-point era, where making a three-pointer grants you two more opportunities to miss shots while maintaining your 50/50 points-to-shots ratio.

I also want to point out that Jackson’s free throw with 5:27 left in the fourth quarter would end up being the last points that the Suns scored in the game. That’s right: the Suns closed out the final five and a half minutes of the game without making a shot or even converting a free throw.
