Let it be known that I did not want to make this highlight video. I really, really did not. The record will show that I resisted the creation of this highlight video until the very end.
Then I was like, “he had 24 and 10”, so I made the video even though Spencer Dinwiddie went 5-of-22 from the field. That’s right. Din-dins shot 22 times and made just five of them, and he still gets a highlight video even though I keep telling myself that I’m gonna stop rewarding players for having crummy games. I honestly don’t know why I put myself through the torment of making a highlight video where the player in question makes five shots, twelve free throws, and gets ten assists. Maybe it’s because I secretly want sympathy and hope that writing sad-sack video descriptions will get me some. That’s folly, though, since nobody can understand or comprehend the existential anguish I’m suffering from right now.
