Luc Richard Mbah a Moute took over this one, leading the Rockets to victory with his 15 fourth-quarter points and perfect 7-for-7 shooting. I am not exaggerating. He is the reason the Rockets won this game. Not James Harden. Not Chris Paul. Not Zhou Qi. Mbah a Moute is the hero, and the Rockets’ streak goes on.
I’ve sort of lost track of all the different teams he’s been on, but man, I liked him with the Bucks. He never really got that jumper to a point where you didn’t want to murder him for taking it, and the warming glow of him being a second-round rookie who didn’t suck faded by the end of his tenure, but we had some fun times. It’s good to see him still kicking around the league, the guy who Kevin Durant once called the toughest defender in the NBA.
