James Ennis 21 Points Full Highlights (3/2/2018)

Let us never forget the time James Ennis closed the 2015-16 season by scoring 28 and 29 points in consecutive games for the Pelicans. Those were his only 20-point games until this gem which I just unearthed from the cavernous depths of this Pistons-Magic contest. This isn’t peak Ennis, but it’s pretty close, and it means a little more than the others since the Pistons aren’t (currently) a tanking team playing meaningless games at the end of another lost season.

Ennis went totally nuts in a minute-long stretch of the third quarter, scoring 8 points and giving the Pistons a decent lead. The lead (and the game) was eventually squandered, in part because Ennis didn’t keep scoring on every possession, but he proved something to the Pistons today: that he can be yet another mediocre but sometimes pretty decent small forward for them. Wow! Just what the Pistons needed!
