Since I don’t feel like actually writing something insightful or funny about Jusuf Nurkic right now (I used up all my narrative energy on a story where Spencer Dinwiddie yells “It’s Dinner Time” while forcefeeding James Harden snack foods), I’m going to hit the proverbial “easy button” on this description and just give you a list of all the 10/10/10 triple-doubles that have been recorded since the 1940’s:
Elfrid Payton (Oct. 17, 2018) – This was at the very beginning of this season when people (including myself) thought the Pelicans were basically guaranteed playoffs. Haha. Ha.
Kyle Lowry (Mar. 2, 2013) – I made a highlight video of this one, which was weird because I rarely made Lowry videos even back then.
Andre Iguodala (Jan. 28, 2012) – I didn’t start making highlights until the next season, but I would have probably thought Iggy was too good for my channel. Which would have been accurate at that time, I think.
Jason Kidd (Dec. 13, 2016) – Kidd celebrated this one by beating up his pregnant wife and then drunk-driving into a tree. So he essentially beat up four things: his wife, his unborn kid, the tree, and the car he was driving. Sounds like head coach material to me!
Andre Iguodala (Mar. 23, 2005) – Hey, he’s done this twice in his career! Crazy!
Anfernee Hardaway (Apr. 9, 2003) – This was the version of Penny Hardaway that was old and hobbled by injuries. But he could still stuff the stat sheet at least some of the time.
