Cedi Osman 26 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (1/29/2019)

It’s great that Cedi Osman spent a bunch of time this summer working out with LeBron James and learning all his secrets. You can totally tell that he’s absorbed some of that LeBron mojo and unleashed it on unsuspecting teams this season. But there’s also a problem with spending too much time with LeBron. Tell me, do you want LeBron’s horrible and unclutch free-throw shooting to rub off on young Mr. Osman?

Too late. It already has. Osman tried to choke this game away by missing two clutch free throws with 11 seconds left that would’ve put the game away. Instead, the door was opened for the ‘Zards to potentially tie the game with a triple. Luckily for Osman, the ‘Zards decided that Troy Brown was going to be the guy to win them the game, and he basically gifted Osman a strip/block to seal the game. A clutch defensive play to be sure (more of that LeBron magic), but it shouldn’t have been needed.

My proposal is that he find some other superstars to be friends with during the offseason. Stephen Curry, perhaps? I wouldn’t mind a version of Osman who can shoot 20 threes a game without any hesitation and make 10 of them. As long as he also kept up all the other fun stuff that he’s doing currently.
