Luke Kennard 19 Points Full Highlights (1/29/2019)

An observation from the Bucks-Pistons game that Pistons fans have probably been observing for the whole season: the ball movement got way better for them once Blake Griffin sat down. Like, the Bucks were getting totally bamboozled by the amount of passing going on. Then Griffin comes back in, and it’s back to pretending he’s the point guard and letting him iso for as long as he wants, as often as he wants. He’s a great player, but it was fun watching Khyri Thomas and ZaZa Pachulia and Luke Kennard whip the ball around.

Another observation from the Bucks-Pisons game that Pistons fans have probably not been observing for the whole season: Kennard putting the ball in the basket. I liked it! I feel bad for them if they don’t get to watch stuff like this every game, because Kennard has an… aesthetic… way of scoring. Who needs arc on their jumpers? Not him. As always when it comes to this dude, I’m going to blame Dwayne Casey for not giving him enough opportunities, even though his minutes have been fairly consistent and he still has games where he can’t score.

Another observation from the Bucks-Pisons game: Detroit, you need to FAN UP. I don’t care if it’s like -20 degrees (which it is right now while I’m writing this, pray for me), you have to show up to your new arena and make sure your sleazebag owner knows you exist so he doesn’t move you to Las Vegas. I think the upper bowl had one person in the whole thing.
