Reggie Jackson 25 Points Full Highlights (1/29/2019)

Reggie Jackson fans, you can come out now. It’s safe. No one’s going to hurt you. He just scored 25 points, no one is going to make fun of you for being a fan. It’s okay. We will still wonder why you’re a fan of him in the first place, but as of right now, that fandom is justified.

Honestly, I’m not sure if he has any fans, in hiding or not. He certainly has no admirers from his Thunder days, with the way he forced himself out, and I don’t sense that Pistons fans are fans of him either. Something about thinking he’s better than he is? I can see that. Because once upon a time, he was legitimately good for them. That was three or four years ago, and now he’s not legitimately good for them.

What happened to the famed Jackson/Drummond lob connection? I swear a few years ago that was the most fearsome guard-to-center alley-oop factory in the whole league except for Paul/Jordan. The Drummond dunkilations I was making where filled to the brim with lobs from Jackson, to the point where it got sort of boring after a while. Now, I don’t know. I guess it still happens. Sometimes. 15 out of 100 dunks by him have been assists by Jackson, according to my research.

He had a great game tonight scoring, at least. His best in a long, long time. Since early November, in fact. I would’ve been supremely pissed if his unexpected midrange antics earned the Pistons the win, because him scoring more than 15 is not fair, but the Bucks pulled it out. And now that the season series with Milwaukee is over, I never have to watch Blake Griffin do that head snap thing ever again if I don’t want to.
