Yogi Ferrell 19 Points Full Highlights (2/4/2019)

Yogi Ferrell was this close to receiving my heretofore unannounced $100,000 prize (paid out of my own personal funds) for being a backup point guard to have a perfect shooting game while scoring at least twenty points. He pulled off the perfect shooting, going 7-of-7 from the field (his 1-of-2 performance from the line is not being held against him), but he didn’t quite make it to twenty points (maybe) his missed free throw is actually being held against him). Sorry, Yogi. No cash payout for you today.

The last player to do this was Jarrett Jack for the Nets back in 2014. He scored 23 points on 10-of-10 shooting and he wasn’t the starter. I’m not actually sure if he was playing point guard while he was on the court, but he was a point guard for most of his career so I’m going to say that yes, he was. He did not receive the payout either because I had not yet conceived of the award. The award was actually just conceived of this morning while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to say in this damn video description.

Also I don’t really have $100,000 on hand to pay out this award. So the award, even though I announced it, doesn’t really exist except nominally. If I had $100,000 I would award it to myself for being the best NBA highlight channel on YouTube.
