Vince Carter 17 Points/1 Dunk Full Highlights (2/27/2019)

I am preemptively angry over the fact that the NBA is not going to upload a video at the end of Vince Carter’s career of all the dunks he has ever dunked. They haven’t specifically said that they’re not going to do it, but given their record on such things, there’s no way it’s going to happen. They’ll probably upload some sort of “best of”, featuring only the best dunks of his career, but that’s not what the people want. They want a tightly edited, highly intense experience featuring Carter dunking it… how many times? I don’t know the exact number, but a bunch of times for sure. In the dozens, possibly.

And worse yet, the NBA refuses to open up its cavernous (literally cavernous; I have a blurry black-and-white photo that purports to show the archive, and it’s literally in a cave, with unlabeled reels of film intersperesed between the stalagmites and stalactites) archive of all past NBA games (since like the 60’s or 70’s, sorry people who wanted Wilt’s 100-point game highlights) so that enterprising YouTube channels (like me) can make the video instead.

It’s not like it would even be that much work. Interns are cheap, and I bet they’d love to just sit and watch hundreds of old Raptors/Nets/Suns (lol) games waiting for Vinsanity to appear with one of his 360 slammeroonis. Hell, DownToBuck is cheap too. I’d do it for frickin’ free, just let me in that god-damn archive and I’ll show you a real god-damn dunkilation.
