Pascal Siakam 21 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (3/3/2019)

Last night was the much anticipated battle between Thon Maker and the player Thon Maker would be if he was good at basketball. No, not Jeremy Lin. Come on bro. Pascal Siakam. Jeeze. Do you need everything handed to you on a silver platter? That was the lobbiest softball ever and you took a big swing and missed everything.

Yeah, Siakam is what I imagine Maker would be like if Maker could do the following things: catch passes, rebound, jump without a million years to set it up, dribble, move with fluidity, defend, or pass. Notice I left out “shoot”, because they might be somewhat equivalent in that category, that is to say, they both aren’t really that good. Siakam has an excuse though, because he really sucked at shooting earlier in his career, while the only facet of the game where Maker can impact things on the court is by shooting threes. So Siakam still wins in that category as well.

Siakam came out way ahead in this battle, scoring 21 to Maker’s 6. That’s actually way more points than I thought Maker would have, so good for him. And his team won the game, but I’m hesitant to assign too much credit to him for that.
