Troy Daniels 16 Points Full Highlights (3/23/2019)

If this were a just and kind world, I would, in this video description, use my skills of oratory to convince you, the reader, that Troy Daniels is being marginalized right now in Phoenix. That he isn’t getting the minutes he deserves. That he isn’t getting the looks he deserves. That he’s being blackballed out of the league due to the shady machinations of those higher-ups both in the Suns’ front office and the league office.

After explaining Daniels’ dire situation to you, I would use my powers of persuasion to rally all of you to act. Perhaps a letter-writing campaign, perhaps a tweetstorm, perhaps a physical congregation of like-minded individuals who could demonstrate in front of the league office holding signs. Together we would fight for justice to be restored and for Troy Daniels to get at least twenty minutes per game, forcing Devin Booker to the point guard position for stretches of game time if necessary.

I’m not going to do any of that because, at this point, I don’t know anymore if Troy Daniels is actually good enough to warrant more minutes. He’s basically only a three-point shooter. That is literally all he does. That’s fine for some teams who have established lineups and can always use more shooting, but the Suns are so low on actual talent that they need to play the players who either bring more than one skill to the game or have the promise to develop those skills. Daniels is neither. He just shoots threes.

So, sorry Troy, but nobody’s coming to your aid this time. Just ride out the rest of the season mostly on the bench and see if you get signed next year.
