Dario Saric 18 Points Full Highlights (3/26/2019)

When I first glanced over the box-score for the Timberwolves/Clippers game, my eye lingered over Dario Saric’s statline: 18 points, 5 assists. Not a fantastic line, but pretty decent for Saric considering his reduced role on the Wolves compared to the Sixers. I filed the small scrap of knowledge away for future reference. My brain is, after years in the highlights business, perfectly calibrated to accept box-scores as input data to be retrieved easily and accurately.

However, when I started making this video, I became worried that Saric wasn’t recording assists very quickly, and, indeed, would have to get four them in the last few minutes of the game to reach his total of five. That’s when I checked the box-score and saw that he only had one assist. He had five rebounds. That’s where I saw the five.

This has completely messed up my prioritization of which performances need to get made and uploaded first. If I hadn’t been so tired and groggy while reading the box-score, Saric would be tenth or eleventh in line instead of seventh. I would like to somehow blame Croatians for my problem, but I can’t. This was my bad and now you’re facing the consequences by being forced to watch a Saric video before you get to watch my upcoming Collin Sexton video.
