Dario Saric 23 Points Full Highlights (4/7/2019)

This is the best jumpshooting performance that I remember seeing from Dario Saric, and since I would have made a highlight video for any game where he played even remotely close to this well, I can feel confident that it is, in fact, the best jumpshooting display that Saric has had in his career. He hits seven jumpers in this one, including a few off of curls, prompting the obvious conclusion that Saric took some lessons from J.J. Redick while the two were teammates in Philly.

Saric is definitely playing well to close out a disappointing Timberwolves season, and I don’t see any reason why he couldn’t have played this way for the entire season other than incompetent coaching. It’s always an indictment of coaching when a player who had a smaller role early in the season starts playing well in a larger role late in the season when the games don’t matter. It happened in Charlotte with Frank Kaminsky and it happened in Minnesota with Dario Saric.

Under no circumstances can Saric’s struggles this year actually be attributed to Saric himself. That’s proposterous and if you were thinking that to yourself I now have a very low opinion of you and your basketball knowledge. Of all the things holding Saric down this season (Thibs’ hatred of Euros, Wiggins’ suckitude, lack of fan support), Saric’s lack of confidence and/or ability is absolutely not one of them. No. Never.
