With Giannis a DNP: Smoothies in the final game of the Bucks’ season, everybody knew that it was going to be D.J. Wilson’s chance to pretend that he’s worthy of being a featured offensive weapon on a team. The Bucks had nothing to play for other than the entertainment of the fans, so it didn’t matter that Wilson took twenty shots (making eight of them).
Due to unfortunate life circumstances, I didn’t get to watch this game live, but that’s actually fine because I think I would have been slightly upset with Wilson for taking so many shots when Tim Frazier was clearly working on a 30/20 game. This highlight package, distilled into only the most vital plays, is surely a more enjoyable experience. I’ve already watched in five times and I think I enjoy it more each time I watch it. The dunks! The threes! The layups! The hairstyle that looks like a hairdresser’s error! It’s all awesome!
OFFICIAL DTB PLAYOFFS SNEAK PEEK PREVIEW: D.J. Wilson with two knees is about as good as Blake Griffin with one knee. This will be a matchup to watch. Also Thon Maker is looking to get revenge and you know he always turns it on in the playoffs.
