Devonte’ Graham Career High 35 Points Full Highlights (11/5/2019)

I am finding it funny that the Hornets are going to be paying Terry Rozier 19 million dollars to back up Devonte’ Graham.

Rozier may still technically be the starter, but after this nutso performance by Graham, I don’t know how much longer they can justify that decision. Rozier hasn’t even been that bad (somehow), but Graham has been way, way, way better than even the most optimistic optimists could’ve imagined. If you want to claim that you knew that Graham was going to be this good, well, enjoy the eternal torments of Satan’s hellfire because you know where liars go? And that’s all I have to say about that. Is it worth risking an eternity of suffering just to claim that you knew Graham was going to have a breakout season?

I figured he was in line for a small statistical bump just because of all the unearned playing time he was going to get. The Hornets came into this season with no expectations (or, rather, everyone came in with no expectations for them), and teams like that are quick to give their young players tons of minutes. But things are not going according to plan thus far: Charlotte is winning games, and Graham is earning every minute of playing time by being an extremely fringy early All-Star candidate.

Yeah, I went there, and his candidacy just received a huge boost because of this “signature” 35-point game with multiple clutch shots/free throws (mostly free throws) in a close win against the favored Pacers. I thought his earlier career-highs were not likely to be repeated, and I guess I was sort of right, because he didn’t repeat them. He obliterated them.

Is it unreasonable to think that he’s going to drop 40 by the time the season’s over?
