Markieff Morris 22 Points Full Highlights (11/6/2019)

Markieff and Marcus Morris squared off against each other in this game, as they’re so used to doing since the Suns did them dirty by splitting them up (by the way, you don’t need to feel bad about them getting ‘done dirty’; they lost their right to sympathy when they beat up that one dude that one time). Markieff came away as the victor in this game, both in terms of the win and in terms of points (he scored 22 to his brother’s 18), but overall, the season matchup has belonged to the rival twin.

In eight games, Marcus has scored 26, 11, 12, 10, 9, 29, 28, and 18. Markieff has scored in nine games 8, 7, 17, 8, 16, 12, 13, 4, and 22. Perhaps Markieff has been more consistent, but Marcus has had some very good scoring games.

Clearly, the Pistons are attempting to compete for a playoff spot. The Knicks, if they ever entertained that notion, certainly aren’t entertaining it now. While Markieff has to fit neatly into his role on offense and try to contribute to team success, Marcus can just chuck shots all he wants and nobody will stop him. He’s the veteran of that team, he can shoot as much as he wants and if somebody disagrees with his shot selection, he can just make sure they never get the ball. So it’s totally expected that Marcus would be seeing more individual “success” than Markieff is.

Also, unrelated to all that, but I encourage all viewers of this video to post it to their Facebook feeds or Instagram thingies or Twitter whatevers so that it can actually get some views. If it gets spammed repeatedly on every social media outlet, I’m confident that it can reach the fabled 1,000 view threshhold. Post it on TikTok too if you have one of those. I don’t know what TikTok is. Can you even post to TikTok?
