Terence Davis 16 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (11/18/2019)

I’m starting to lose it with all these Raptors role-players (and sub-role-players, they’ve earned the right not to be called scrubs) having solid performances. Granted, basically everyone on Toronto’s roster is a role-player at this point besides Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry. They run the gamut from high-end role-players like Fred VanVleet to barely-playable stiffs like Marc Gasol, with every player archetype in between.

I don’t know what to make of the enigmatic Terence Davis quite yet. Too small of a sample size to really get a feel for what his NBA future will look like. Raptors fans will have you believe that he is a future Hall-of-Famer with the way they are talking about him, but I’m not willing to go there quite yet. Let’s say multiple-time All-Star and see where he goes from there.

Every team in the league should be looking at the Raptors for tips on how to get the most out of their players. It seems like everyone is playing at or near their peak, and they’re playing together, not as a loose assemblage of disjointed parts. How many assists did they have this game? 40? I remember when people got hyped for 30-assist games and here this unheralded/undrafted batch of randoms just goes and gets 40.
