Who else is hella hyped to watch Richaun Holmes and De’Aaron Fox play together? Raise your hand if you’re hyped. Even though you’re probably sitting in your room by yourself with nobody around to see you do it, I want you to raise your hand. I want everybody watching this video to raise their hands in hype solidarity and become part of one globe-spanning hype family. Because if you’re not hyped for the prospects of this duo, you, simply put, don’t like NBA basketball.
I’m raising my hand right now while typing this description with the other, because the dynamic combination of Holmes and Fox is guaranteed to generate nonstop highlight plays. If Holmes somehow were able to throw a lob to Fox for a windmill dunk, my hype level would spike so high so quickly that my blood vessels would all simultaneously explode, but it would be worth it. When paramedics arrived at my house to find my kitty Japurri mewling helplessly and poking my body with his paw, they’d be able to tell just from my blood-splattered walls that, at the moment of my death, I was the single happiest person alive in the world.
More likely than a rare Holmes to Fox lob are hella lobs with the roles reversed. You can even see a preview of those lobs in this video to start getting your hype glands pumping out those sweet, sweet hype hormones. But this is only the beginning! Lob City will be resurrected a few hundred miles north of its original birthplace, and it’s going to make the denizens of Sacramento forget all about their stupid and played-out obsession with cowbells.
It also helps that “Holmes and Fox” sounds like the name of a new hit detective show. A detective show where everybody’s dunking all the time.
