Bryn Forbes 18 Points Full Highlights (12/28/2019)

Bryn “Forbearance” Forbes is not as good a three-point shooter this season as he was last season. Last season, he was a 43% shooter from deep, making him one of the best in the league. This season, he’s shooting 36%, which is fine (especially at the volume of shots he takes) but is only a bit above league average. Since Forbes’ main skill is shooting, his quality as a player is directly tied to the quality of his shooting.

There’s good news here. DownToBuck has developed a proven method of improving one’s three-point shooting and is willing to share the details with Mr. Forbes so that he can go back to being one of the league’s elite three-point marksmen. You know my method works because it worked on me, and I have a goofy jumper. Somebody with a pure jumper, like Forbes, should reap even more benefits than the already sizable amount of benefits that I reaped.

Ready to have your mind blown by the OFFICIAL DTB THREE-POINTER TRAINING METHOD?

You start at the corner behind the three-point line. You shoot ten shots from there. Your rebounder gives you chest passes so you can get right into your motion. After you shoot ten, you go to the elbow and shoot ten more. Then you go to the top of the arc and shoot ten from there, reminding your rebounder to give you good passes that you don’t have to reach for. After you’re done with those ten, you proceed to the other elbow to shoot ten more three-pointers. Finally, you go to the opposite corner and shoot ten threes from there. And that’s all there is to it.

I was doing this, like, once a week and I got noticeably better at threes. I let them fly without hesitation during pickup games, and unlike the meatballs I play with, mine actually go in a lot of the time. Even with double rims. If you did my method ten times a day, and not just once a week, the ceiling for improvement would be unlimited.

Now, I can feel the doubt emanating from your pores, seeping through the internetubes, and assaulting me through my monitor. And I understand that doubt. You’re thinking, “DTB’s official three-pointer training method is just him shooting threes with a rebounder. Every NBA player already does that all the time.” However, that’s not quite true. My method is better because it was proven to work on me. No other method worked on me, so this method is, by definition, better than any other methods that players might already be using.

I am ready for my assistant coach offers now.
