While I was editing this video, I suddenly experienced some kind of hallucination or vision. I can only assume that my body went limp and unresponsive during this episode. What I saw when visiting that visionscape has profoundly changed my life.
I was floating in the sky, surrounded by a circle of Romanesque pillars. There was a little bed, almost like a manger, made of pure gold, and in it was a child resting on a pile of pillows and blankets. The child was wearing a Charlotte Hornets jersey. Standing next to him was an old man with a long gray beard. The old man was wearing a New Orleans Hornets jersey, and while I watched, he gently picked up the child and said to it, “You are my child.” Then the vision faded out.

Now I just have to figure out what it all meant. The layers of metaphor were too deep. The fact that this vision was received while I was making a Devonte’ Graham highlight video might be related in some way, or it might not.
