As Dillon Brooks gets more and more accustomed to being one of the primary scoring options for the ‘Zlies, a mantle which he has worn all season but one that he has just recently grown fully into, I’m starting to believe that he can be a better scorer than MarShon Brooks.
Regular viewers of my channel will know that this is just about the highest praise possible from me, given the high esteem in which I hold Mar$hon Brooks’ scoring ability. I unironically think he could be scoring twenty PPG per game RIGHT NOW if an NBA team would allow him to unleash the full extent of his Mar$wag-patented swagginess. Instead he’s off in China or Argentina or something. Luckily, the other Brooks is here to replace some of that swaggy, ultra-confident scoring that I crave so much.
Sadly, Dillon Brooks’ name doesn’t lend itself as easily to swag-based nicknames. You can’t just call him Dill$wag. That doesn’t make any sense. It looks like you passed out and bang your head on your keyboard. You could call him something like Million Dillon Brooks, but the slight mismatch of the rhyme renders it less pleasing to say, like you have to mispronounce it just to make it sound good. However, even if I can’t come up with a good nickname for Brooks that properly encapsulates his swaggy scoring style, I’m just happy that he has it.
That said, I’m getting tired of making highlight videos for him so if he wanted to take a few days off, I wouldn’t complain.
