Mo Bamba 12 Points Full Highlights (2/3/2020)

Okay, DTB just came back from snacktime and is ready to articulate his thoughts on second-year Magic center Mo Bamba. Before I talk about him, though, I just want to interject for a moment that nacho cheese flavor Doritos are pretty tasty. However, there are two varieties of Doritos that need to return to store shelves at once:

1. 3D Cheddar Jalapeno Doritos
2. Late-Night Cheeseburger Doritos

My life will not be complete until these snacks are getting crammed into my mouth by the fistful as God intended. However, my snack preferences are not what caused you to click on this video. The promise of witnessing Mo Bamba score real points in a real NBA game is what caused you to click on this video.

Bamba doesn’t do a lot of scoring. Part of it is because his minutes are seriously limited, and other part of it is, well, he’s just not a scorer. I’ve learned my lesson about using the “B” word in my video descriptions (the one that rhymes with “disgust”, I’m not typing it out), but if we’re being truthful here, most people expect a sixth-overall pick to score the rock more often than Bamba does.

In fairness to Bamba, the Magic have stifled his development with their ill-advised playoff pushes driven by pseudo-All-Star Nikola Vucevic and his thirty minutes per game, but in fairness to Steve Clifford, he would probably give Bamba more minutes if he demonstrated that he was worth more minutes. Overall, the situation just doesn’t seem like it’s working out. The solution, of course, is to trade Nikola Vucevic to the Bucks in exchange for Thon Maker and a 2029 second-round pick, then waive Thon and give Bamba all of Vucevic’s minutes.
