Dejounte Murray Career High 25 Points Full Highlights (2/11/2020)

Dejounte Murray (whose first name is apparently not pronounced “Deh-JOONT”, but I’m going to keep pronouncing it that way anyway, come at me bro) just set a new career high mostly on the back of a quintessentially Spursian shot, the midrange jimbo. Somewhere, LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan are tagteam hugging him while crying.

Aside from a pair of layups, a big-time whamjam and a single anomalous three-pointer, the rest of the buckets contained in this video are of the midrange jimbo variety. Since I am a born-again midrange jimbo worshiper, this highlight video represents the ideal Dejounte Murray experience. Except for all the free throws at the end. Six free throws in the final minute over a span of just sixteen seconds of game time? Bleh. That’s what I say to that. Bleh bleeh. So what if free throws are just a different kind of midrange jimbo? They’re not the kind of midrange jimbo I want to see. If Murray jumped on his free throws, I would be a bit more sympathetic towards him.

I estimate that, with this game, Murray will escape the wrath of frustrated Spurs fans for approximately 72 hours. In the meantime, Bryn Forbes will be the recipient of all the extra hate that Spurs fans have to expel from their bodies lest it build up within them and cause them to explode like an overfilled hate-balloon.
