Terrence Ross 21 Points Full Highlights (2/24/2020)

Terrence Ross didn’t score in this game until the 4:40 mark of the third quarter. He then concluded his scoring with a three-pointer at exactly 7:23 in the fourth. By utilizing my extremely minimal skills in the arcane mathematical/numerological arts, that comes out to nine minutes and seventeen seconds of game time wherein T-Ross dropped 21 points. That’s like 80 points per 36 minutes if you care to extrapolate it (and I do care to extrapolate, since I’m all about extrapolating anything at any time to the absolute limit of reason and beyond that limit).

Those points were crucial because the Magic barely came away with a 115-113 win over the Nets. This was a game that had serious implications for playoff seeding, as the Nets were the 7th seed going in to tonight, while the Magic were the 8th seed, two games behind. These two teams are locked in a pitched battle to see who will get clobbered by the Bucks and who will get clobbered by the Raptors. You just know that all the eyes of the league are going to bet on the Magic and Nets for the rest of the season. And don’t count out the Wizards or the Bulls, only four games out of the eighth seed.

Man, it is so nice, SO NICE, for the Bucks not to be one of those pathetic teams battling for a low playoff seed with a mediocre roster of flawed players who you desperately wish were better. Sorry Magic bros. Your team is pathetic. I know how it feels and it doesn’t feel good. Terrence Ross is like your OJ Mayo. That’s painful.
