Terry Rozier 26 Points Full Highlights (2/26/2020)

Terry Rozier is definitely capable of games like this. We’ve seen in multiple times this season. Nobody should be surprised when he pops off for, like, five three-pointers in a half or whatever he did this game. But with his capability to get very hot comes his capability to get very cold. Sometimes Scary Terry is scary because he’ll bury you with points like he’s the second coming of Jamal Crawford. Sometimes Scary Terry is scary because he’ll shoot you out of the game with bricks like he’s the second coming of Jamal Crawford.

Peep the stats from Rozier’s last game, a devastating forty-point loss to the Pacers: 5 points on 2-of-13 shooting. If any Hornets fans are out there who sat through that entire game, you have my condolences. I would say that I can empathize with you as a Bucks fan who endured their sixteen-win season, but I actually can’t generate any empathy in that way. For you see, I rarely sat through a full 48-minute game (which is two and a half hours of real time) from start to finish. I value my existence more than that, and I would hope that most Hornets fans feel the same way about their existences vis-a-vis this season.

Any Hornets fans who are prone to punishing themselves with full doses of Hornets games got a slight reprieve tonight, as the Hornets beat the Knicks, a team whose fans are even more beleaguered and downtrodden than Hornets fans. Scary Terry was the “good” scary and not the “bad” scary. Now we just need Joe Chealey to be the “good” Chealey and not the “bad” Chealey and maybe the Hornets will be watchable again.
