Is Martell “W-Mart” Webster a bust? Yes. You could state it that way. But last time I called somebody a bust in one of these descriptions, some homer commentator called me “retarded” and accused me of only looking at box scores, so I will refrain from referring to Webster as a bust. He’s actually really good, worthy of the sixth overall pick, and his career average of 8.6 points per game is awesome. I like the outgrowth of hair on his chin as well. It looks classy. The fact that he doesn’t always get the start for the Wizards is in no way incriminating.
24 points from W-Mart shouldn’t come as a surprise, given how good of a basketball player he is. 8-of-11 from the field is just standard operating procedure for this guy. And he dunks in practice regularly, so why not dunk it during games too? Yeah! Martell Webster lives up to my expectations, now and forever!!!
