It is important to note that, while Aaron Gordon did in fact have four dunks in this game, none of them were of the quality we have come to expect from him since he won (not lost) the dunk contest. However, he did hit a three, something that he did not do even one time during the entire dunk contest despite not having any defenders near him during the whole contest.
I think people need to be reminded that Gordon essentially squirted his creamy beast juice all over the Summer League last summer and was looking ready to start showing off his midrange game once the season started. That plan was complicated a bit by Tobias Harris’ presence in Orlando, but with that guy out of the picture, it truly is time for Gordon to start SHOWING OUT!
Just remember that when he does start to SHOW OUT!!!!, I was on the Aaron Gordon hype train before anybody else. Bandwagon hype train passengers don’t get to sit in my train car. My train car is reserved only for early boarders of the Aaron Gordon hype train. The champagne is so good up here, my friends.
