Remind me to never watch those predraft strengths and weaknesses (I only watch the strengths parts) videos ever again. All they do is get me way too hyped over mediocre prospects. From now on, if I want to see talent from the upcoming draft, I will sneak into the workouts myself. Can’t trust these third party sources.
I mean, R.J. Hunter was a late first-round pick. There was no reason for me to think that he’d be any good at all this year except for those darn YouTube videos. But I did, and he wasn’t, so I ended up totally disppointed. Again. Not R.J.’s fault, either. This time, the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of DTB and anyone else who developed unreasonable expectations for him.
Hold on, wait a god-damn MINUTE, you mean to tell me that he hasn’t even being doing that well in the D-League? Screw it then, this is all R.J.’s fault for being sucky. Frickin’ sucky sucker with a weird jumpshot.
