Justin Anderson is finally playing with confidence and producing for the Mavericks. How do I know? Because the commentators during this series wouldn’t shut up about how they “like how he is playing” and he “is maturing in the postseason” and “isn’t afraid of the moment” and stuff like that. I guess when an underdog is making things semi-competitive (kind of) against favored opposition, you have to come up with reason for why it’s happening. One of those reasons was, I guess, Justin Anderson.
These last few games for Anderson will give Mavericks fans something to take their mind off the impending implosion of their team. A rookie performing well when the games actually matter counts for a lot, even it doesn’t make up for ZaZa regressing into sludge.
