Terrence Ross must read my video descriptions or something. Just days after I wrote mean things about him in the description of a Norman Powell video, he goes out and actually has a decent game by his standards. It’s like me saying how worthless he was made him determined to prove that he has worth in the NBA, or something. If that is indeed the case, then my newest business venture is officially open for business: simply send me a check for $20.00, and I will, in my next video description, write disparaging things about the player of your choice in order to get them to perform better.
Results won’t be guaranteed, of course. I can’t make people read the stuff I write, especially NBA players whose collective reading level limits them to reading slang-filled tweets, the names on the backs of jerseys, and nothing else. I also can’t magically make a bad player good. For example, I could write horrible things about a player like Drew Gooden, but even if he got hyped up by my hate for him, he would still only score four points maximum. A player like T-Ross, though, is known to be a capable scorer (51 anybody???) and apparently just needs a little motivation to put that scoring skill to use.
