This seemed like the perfect game for Steven Adams to score twenty. Twenty points is an arbitrary goal borne of our base-ten number system, but that’s what I’m going with. Adams has yet to score the mystical “twenty” in an NBA game, but it should be easy if you have sixteen points halfway through the third quarter. Right?
Here’s the list of people I’m going to blame for Steven Adams not scoring twenty or even eighteen, which also would have been a career-high:
1. Russell Westbrook
2. Dion Waiters
3. Enes Kanter
4. Billy Donovan
[BLAME GAP]
9001. Steven Adams (you can’t expect him to create his own shots so he is not really responsible for his own point total)
All these people, save Steven, will feel the blazing touch of my Scepter of Blame once I remember where I put it. It’s supposed to be in the huge golden tabernacle in my basement but it’s not there.
