Jonathan Gibson Career High 26 Points Full Highlights (11/18/2016)

I was freaking out earlier this morning because I almost forgot to make a vid of Jonathan Gibson’s 11-point performance. “What if he never scores that much again?” I asked myself. “The world would never know of Jonathan Gibson’s exploits on an NBA basketball court! That cannot be allowed to happen. This knowledge must not be lost.”

Well, that video is worthless now. It got totally obsoleted in just a few short hours. Its view total of 618 will remain stationary forever, as no one will want to watch the highlights of a performance so inferior to this one.

Those who watched Gibson in China are probably not surprised that he did this. He was a stud over there, leading the league in scoring. I, however, am totally surprised. This is the most unexpected performance of the year from my point of view. The Mavericks are short on talent right now, yes. That doesn’t mean that a guy playing in his second career NBA game gets to score an efficient 26 points against a good defensive team.

And yes, I put “Career High” in the title, even though it is obvious that he has never scored more than this in the NBA before. It’s insurance for future YouTube watchers, who want to know more about this “Jonathan Gibson” who just signed with their random Euro team. And while Gibson has proved me wrong once before, he’s not super likely to ever surpass this total.

He’s gonna score 50 next game, isn’t he?
