It happened again. I will no longer be surprised with future MarShon “Mar$wag” Brooks performances. He could score 50 next game (it’s strange how that doesn’t even sound that unrealistic) and I would be like “yup, that’s Mar-dollar-wag for you”.
In fact, I don’t see any reason why that should not be the goal for the Grizzlies in these last few games. Do as Brevin Knight says, and give him the ball. Not just most possessions, but for all possessions. Not just for some of the game, but for all of the game.
I was kinda hoping that he would get a new career-high in this game, since he had a bit of time to get the two more points required, but it didn’t happen. I have no doubt it will happen next game, but until then, you can go find the remaining video (mine got FRICKIN’ DELETED) of his sophomore-year 27-point performance and compare the two. More threes these days is the main difference.
