Richaun Holmes 22 Points/3 Blocks Full Highlights (12/31/2019)

If Dewayne Dedmon can demand a trade for being so bad that he can’t even get in the rotation for the Kings, I don’t see why Richaun Holmes can’t demand a trade for being on a team so bad that it has Dewayne Dedmon on it. It might be considered bad form for the best player on a team to forsake said team by demanding a trade, but Holmes knows that he’s wasting his prime in the wasteland of Sacramento. So where should he go? I’ve got a few ideas.

-Milwaukee Bucks. If he wants to avoid being one of those all-time greats who never won a ring, Milwaukee should be he first idea this year. They don’t have tons of space in their rotation for him, but if Kevin Durant can sacrifice stats and prestige by running to a contender, so can Holmes. No one will argue once you’ve got some hardware on your hand.

-Cleveland Cavaliers. This actually isn’t that great of a landing spot for him, because he’d still be the best player on the team but his guards would be significantly worse, limited his statistical impact. But I just want to see him and John Henson on the same team. No particular reason. Just want to see it.

-Phoenix Suns. Can you say “redemption tour”?

-Denver Nuggets. Nikola Jokic paired really well with Kenneth Faried back in the day, but the Nuggets attempt to recreate that magic with Jerami Grant has mostly failed to produce results. That is because Grant isn’t very good, a problem that would be alleviated if they replaced him with Holmes. The term “twin towers” doesn’t get used much anymore, but Jokic and Holmes would definitely qualify.
