After the untimely death of Danny Granger, Paul George was handed the reins of the Pacers franchise. Pretty cruddy position for him to be in, considering the Pacers traded Collison (good player) for Mahinmi (bad player), have no bench, are starting a shooting guard (George Hill) at point, and drafted the useless organ sac Miles Plumlee. He is making the best of it, though, by shooting whenever and wherever he wants. It’s every role-player’s dream. If you’re the best role-player on the team, you get to score a lot of points! Fun!
I’m not hating though. 37 points including 9-of-13 from the three zone is a laudable achievement. We can just move on from Danny Granger now. All our hopes and prayers aren’t going to bring him back to life.
