Gustavo “Goose” Ayon is, since the retirement of Eddie Najera, the only Mexican-born player in the NBA. Many fans know him as “the guy the Hornets traded to get Ryan Anderson”. But he’s more than that. He’s a unique player, and not only for his nationality.
For example, he has some really nice passing skills for a dude his size, and he showed them off against the Trailblazers. I’ve noticed that he turns it over too much because of this. But that’s that price you for basically having a point-center on your roster.
