Anthony “The Magic Man” Randolph is a perfect example of a guy who sticks in the league solely on his potential. Never mind that he’ll probably never reach it. It seems like he has all the tools to be a good player, he can score nicely, has a jumper, can rebound okay as well as block shots, plus a little bit of passing ability. And he was a total unstoppable beast in Summer League.
But for some reason he’s just not a very good player. But if there’s a place where he can shine, Denver might be it. Or maybe he’s the kind of guy who needs a lot of minutes to be good, which he probably won’t get there. Who knows. He’s a bit of an enigma.
