Who is the better player right now: Dwight Howard or Emeka “Chukwuemeka” Okafor? Don’t scoff. The answer might be obvious now (hint: it’s Dwight), but it certainly wasn’t obvious to the people who voted for 2004 rookie of the year, because they decided that Okafor was the better rookie. Little did they know that his numbers would get worse every successive year until he found himself putting up 10 PPG with the Wizards.
But I have a deal for Emeka, if he reads this (which he will, since I already tweeted him the link fifteen times). He can send me a check made out to “Down T. Buck” for the amount of $500.00 and I will alter this description to paint him in a more positive light. Despite the average quality of his NBA play, he still has made a metric butt-ton of money, so I’m sure he can spare a cool half-grand to protect his e-reputation a little bit. Think about it Emeka.
