I watch every team in the league while doing these highlights. That means I get to hear every commentating crew. They all have unique stylistic differences. But what sets the Jazz commentating crew apart is the fact that they have Matt Harpring, who is probably the worst colorman in the league. I hate him. He always gets so morose when things aren’t going that Jazz’s way, and then when things get better he turns into the biggest homer optimist you’ll ever see. I could do a better job, but I would get fired about 10 minutes after letting some profanities through my filter.
But all that doesn’t have any bearing on the fact that DeMarre Carroll scored 19 points, the most he’s ever scored in an NBA game. Most of them were in garbage time, although to be fair pretty much the whole game was garbage time, so I won’t hold it against him.
