If a team holds a 24-point lead at halftime of an NBA game, you think the game’s over, right? Wrong. Actually, right. Just ask Wesley Matthews, who single-handedly dragged his putrid Blazers squad to within seven points in the second half after being by 24 points at the half. Matthews’ superhuman three-shooting ability was not enough to make it over the threshold, but imagine how bad the Blazers would have been without his 28 points.
Matthews celebrated by heading over to the Van Buren Street McDonalds and ordering a 28-piece McNuggets. Since he’s an NBA player, he’s not limited to the normal amounts of McNuggets that us normal people have to choose from. Just one of the many perks of being an NBA player.
